Terms & Conditions
Last updated: February 7, 2026
By purchasing a ticket or registering for Startup Day 2026 ("the Event"), you agree to the following terms and conditions. The Event is organized by Seattle Flow ("we," "us," "our").
Event Details
- Date: May 15, 2026
- Location: Bell Harbor Conference Center, Seattle, WA
- Organizer: Seattle Flow (startupday@seattleflow.org)
Ticket Types and Eligibility
Startup Day is designed for people who are building or want to build scalable technology-driven product startups. By selecting a ticket type, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria for that category.
- Founder: You are currently working full-time on a tech startup.
- Future Founder: You are a tech worker, tech or business student, or subject matter expert who is actively considering starting a startup this year.
- Explorer: You are a tech worker (engineer, product manager, designer), computer science student, or MBA student who wants to learn more about startups.
- Investor: You are a venture capitalist with an active fund or an angel investor actively seeking startups to invest in.
- Startup Fair-only: You are a tech worker (engineer, product manager, designer), computer science student, or MBA student.
Our definition of a startup is an organization built around a scalable tech product expecting to grow. Even though there are great small businesses and great entrepreneurs, that doesn't necessarily mean they are startups by our definition.
Who Should Sponsor Instead
We believe recruiters, staffing firms, outsourcing providers, and HR/talent acquisition professionals play an important role in the startup ecosystem. To ensure the best experience for everyone, individual tickets are not available for people on these roles. Instead, we invite you to participate as a sponsor. Our sponsorship packages are designed to give you meaningful access to our attendees. Contact us at startupday@seattleflow.org or visit our sponsorship page.
Misrepresentation
We reserve the right to verify your eligibility at any time. If we determine that you have misrepresented yourself to obtain a ticket in a category you do not qualify for, we may cancel your registration and issue a refund at our sole discretion.
Ticket Refunds
Full refunds (including processing fees) are available until May 1, 2026. No refunds will be issued after this date.
Refunds apply to Founder, Future Founder, and Explorer tickets only. Supporter tickets are non-refundable.
Refunds are processed manually within 3–7 business days and returned to the original payment method.
To request a refund, email startupday@seattleflow.org with your order number and the name used on the order.
Once a refund has been issued for a ticket, that ticket cannot be repurchased. If you receive a refund, you will not be able to buy another ticket for the Event.
Non-Refundable Purchases
The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Sponsorship packages
- Startup Kit listings
- Startup Fair-only tickets
- Supporter tickets
Ticket Transfers
Ticket transfers are available until May 11, 2026. Transfers are not available after this date and cannot be done at the door on event day.
Supporter and Startup Fair-only tickets are non-transferable.
To transfer your ticket, email startupday@seattleflow.org with your order number and the new attendee's full name and email address. The new attendee must meet the eligibility criteria for the ticket type being transferred.
Event Changes and Cancellation
We reserve the right to modify the Event program, schedule, speakers, venue layout, or other details at any time without prior notice. Changes to the program do not entitle you to a refund.
If we change the date of the Event, you may request a full refund by emailing startupday@seattleflow.org.
If we cancel the Event entirely, all ticket holders will receive a full refund.
Advisory Room and Co-Founder Match
Participation in the Advisory Room and Co-Founder Match is not guaranteed with any ticket purchase. These activities have limited capacity and may require separate registration. Availability is allocated on a first-come, first-served or curated basis at our discretion. Not being selected for these activities does not entitle you to a refund.
Code of Conduct
All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff are expected to comply with our Code of Conduct throughout the Event. We reserve the right to remove any person who violates the Code of Conduct without a refund, at our sole discretion.
Photo, Video, and Recording
The Event will be photographed and recorded. By attending, you consent to the capture and use of your image and likeness in event-related materials, including our website, social media channels, future event promotion, and materials shared with sponsors.
If you prefer not to appear in official photos or videos, you may request a red lanyard at registration. We will make reasonable efforts to exclude attendees wearing red lanyards, but cannot guarantee complete exclusion in all areas.

We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in that policy.
